As most of you know, we're continuing to make changes to the site to discontinue some older features that no longer add value, in order to make the site as streamlined and user-friendly as possible, especially for new users. We will shortly be discontinuing the "aethers" feature that let you design custom khimbits using the khimbit custom demo. There isn't really any good reason to have two separate creature demos, so we will be *moving* the bases currently in the khimbit demo into the khimera custom demo. What does this mean for your existing khimbits? Nothing. They will still exist, new khimbits just won't be able to be created via mini chrysalids anymore once the feature is discontinued. Any mini chrysalids remaining after the feature is discontinued will be able to be turned in for points in the upcycle shop. Another effort we are making to improve the site is the implementation of a new "welcome gift" feature, which will award a suite of items and trinkets to all new users when they join the site. The gift will contain things like backdrops, other equippable items, and growables. It will also contain a special gift of two custom khimera chrysalids - one Running Fennik Chrysalis and one Hunting Margay Chrysalis! These chrysalids will be account-bound and so will the customs created from them. All existing users will also receive the welcome gift package, so keep your eyes on the news for more updates on that!  We are releasing the Running Fennik and Hunting Margay bases for a LIMITED TIME ONLY to purchase via the Chrysalis Cave. We want these bases to retain value for new users, so once the initial sale is over, these bases will only be available in future via rare special events, not for general sale or via "choose any item" special deals.  To celebrate the release of these two new bases, please enjoy a new BEAD SALE with beads at 15% off!
