Keep in mind you can only place one of each breed and gender in your den. If you try to put a khimbit in your den and get an error message, chances are you already have one in there, so be sure to check before reporting an error.

After counting the votes, option 2, to allow more than one Community per user and not have them tied to account upgrades, received by far the most support. So that is what we are going with.

HOWEVER... we have a system of discounts for both regular and upgraded users!

Each basic Community will cost 3 beads to create/keep active per 30 day period for regular users (without using any discounts).

If you purchase a 6 month or 12 month package, you'll get a discount! 16 beads for 6 months , or 30 beads for a year (you basically get two months free when paying for a year in advance!)

Upgraded users will get a 1 bead discount on the monthly fee for all Communities they create/Maintain. You will only receive the discount if you are upgraded when you add time to your Community and may only use one month's upgrade for one month of Community discount. This option gives the maximum possible discount - 1 year for 24 beads.

So the discount schedule looks like this:

Regular Account paying monthly: 6 months: 18 beads
1 year : 36 beads

Bulk Discounts: 6 months: 16 beads
1 year : 30 beads

Upgraded Discount (monthly) 6 months: 12 beads
1 year : 24 beads

Please remember that private Communities are an optional, luxury item only for those who really feel that they are worth paying extra for. If you don't think it's worth the cost - that's totally fine. Not every "extra" on the site is going to appeal to everyone.

There is absolutely no need for anyone to create a private Community in order to enjoy the site, or participate in the site-run Communities that will be provided. Remember that you will be able to create your own *threads* within site-run roleplay groups, for free :)

Tooltips are now enabled around the site. These are the little green boxes that, when you hover over them, will give you some information about the feature they pertain to.

You can shut off/turn on tooltips from Account Setup.

However, it would be nice if everyone can leave the tooltips on for a little bit, and help us by letting us know if there are any other places around the site that you think could benefit from having a tooltip added. Keeping in mind that these are mostly for new players to learn about how the site works.

Now that our user-friendlification project has been essentially completed (we changed a few other things around the site this morning), I'll be releasing a large batch of beta codes so that we can test it all out :)

Upgraded users can now use signatures in the forums! User icons remain free for eveyrone to use.

You can use text and/or images in your signatures and set them above and below your text. Your signature cannot be more than a total of 200 px high when top and bottom are combined, and must not stretch the page. You may not use any rapidly flashing or rotating images, as these make some people feel ill.

To set your signature, simply go to your Account Setup page and input your text, bbcode, and/or the images you would like to use on the top and bottom of your forum text.

If you do not want to view signatures, you may turn off forum signatures via account setup.

Monthly Raffles!

This month we will be raffling off 10 double packs of monthly treasures! All users are automatically entered in this drawing.

For upgraded users, two winners of the raffle will each get to choose any non-khimbit item on the site. Can be a regular item or cash shop item, past or present. All upgraded users are automatically entered in this drawing.

The draw will take place at the end of the month, and only users upgraded at that time will be entered in the drawing.
