The migration is complete and we are back up and running!!! If you notice any glitches or errors, please report them in the forums! We apologize for the downtime, I wish there had been some way around it but it became painfully obvious that we really needed to find a new host right away.

We have given all upgraded users an extra week of ugrade time, enjoy!

It's great to be back, but we seem to have a bit of a problem D: We managed to chase all the ebil sqls out of the database, but now they are running loose all over khimeros! They need to be caught before they can slip back into the database again!

While you are foraging, please be sure to grab every cranky, angry, or tricksy mini ebil sql that you see. Then bring them here. Every five mini sqls you bring us can be combined into a khimbit and thus rendered too large to fit back into the database!

This is an important task, so we are giving out trophies and prizes for those who bring us the most mini sqls!

For those new users who may not know how the raffles work

Love those crazy April Fool's images that you spent all day regenerating madly to create? Well, by using the Statification Potion, you can keep the image forever and still be able to equip items to your khimera!

Using the potion will basically turn your khimera into an "alt" in that the April Fool's image will cover up the markings, colors, dyes etc that the khimera may normally show, with a "static" image.

These images will NOT, however, pass on to offspring.

Statification potions only work on April Fool's 2012 khimeras

You will have two weeks to create and use your potions! If you regenerate your April Fool's khimeras before using a potion or after two weeks time if you have not used a potion, they will appear again as normal khimeras.

Be careful which khimera you use your potion on, since there will be no way to "undo" the statification process until and unless we introduce an "unstatification" potion ;)

Yes, it's because of the April Fool's event ;) Refreshing khimera images is very hard on the server and people are refreshing like, 100x more than normal so the poor server is freaking out. We figured it would be worth the lag to enjoy the April Fool's joke, and it also gives us a chance to test out the server under unusual load circumstances. Everything will be back to normal by tomorrow!

Also! The chat box has been disabled in an attempt to combat the lag. It will be back by tomorrow as well, but until then, feel free to pop in The Lounge!

First off, we have a new variation coming as part of our "out of beta" celebrations - dragon horns! I had wanted to keep this secret until we had the images for the new vatiations available, but I derped and forgot that we were sending out draakiths as soon as they were finished, and that they would start breeding. Currently the images are not in, but the genetics have been coded in for draakiths and will be available for all breeds soon! I apologize for any confusion this may have caused. As a part of the dragon horns release, we will also be making this variation available to be applied to existing customs for a limited time, at a cost of 5 beads. You will be able to either add this new variation, or replace another "horn" variation with dragon horns. Dragon horns sit between unicorn and antlers as far as inheritance dominance. More info on this will be posted when we are ready to make them available.

All Draakiths now come with Dragon Horns in their genetics. Draakiths that have already been created, and all khimeras that have been born from a Draakith, have had their genetics updated (unicorn horns were used as a placeholder in some cases and have now been removed). Although you won't see the variation image yet, Dragon Horns can be passed down to all breeds. There are no restrictions on breeding and khimera images will be able to be updated as the art is released.
