Hi all! We've made some changes to the way lair groups work to hopefully make it a little neater for you guys.

First up, you can now make subgroups, subsubgroups, subsubsubgroups, subsubsubsubgroups... (etc. etc.) for those people who're in need of more organisation.

Secondly, your lair and its subgroups can now be customised! If you check out your Lair Groups, you'll find that you may now edit each group in order to add a description and customise the CSS for the group's page.

We made some changes to the lair navigation to reflect these changes. If you have any suggestions or feedback, or if you run into any bugs, please do drop them by in the comments section ^^

Extensive apologies to those people who became inadvertant testers for the system and had their lair navigation screwed up! Associated bugs should hopefully be ironed out now.

I am cross-posting this from Aluriya because I believe that it needs to be said here, as well.

Please note that if you wish to make a suggestion regarding a feature or a tweak to how things currently work, the place to post is in the suggestion forums. We do not go through the rants forums looking for suggestions, so if you post them there, the only staff likely to see them will be whoever is currently modding the rants forums (ie... not the staff that need to see them in order to actually get them implemented).

Please do not simply transfer your rants to the suggestions forum. Post your suggestions in a clear and concise manner. The suggestions forum is for suggestions for new features and tweaks to existing features, not for rants, non-constructive complaints or demands.

Staff do read ALL suggestions. We may not necessarily comment. We will consider your suggestion and whether we think it will have a positive or negative effect on the site, and also in relation to other things that need to be done. We may decide not to implement something today, but may come back to it at a later date if we either have more time, or things have changed on the site such that it makes more sense to implement the suggestion, of if we think of a way to implement the idea that was not obvious at first.

I'd also like to clarify that while the rants forum is a place to blow off steam, things have been getting out of hand lately. I'd like to remind all users once more that you are still expected to adhere to the rules of being courteous when posting ANYWHERE in the forums (or elsewhere on the site). This means that just because you are posting in the rants forum does not give you free rein to be rude, to target other users for their playing style or for any other reason (this includes how much money they may spend on the site - that's nobody else's business), or to bash the staff or other users. Fair warning. The ability to post in the rants forum is a privilege, not a right.

You MAY post opinions that disagree with something on the site/another site/life in general. We are not preventing you from expressing your opinions, but asking that you do so in a courteous manner. This includes being respectful of the opinions of others. The fact that someone has an opinion that differs from yours does not mean that they are "kissing up" to the person/business/group/site on the other side of the argument. It simply means that they have an opinion of their own. If you don't wish to read rebuttal posts when you post a thread, public forums are probably not a good place to be posting ;)

Hi all! We're working on making the site run a bit smoother by trimming a bit of fat from the code. If you run into any errors, glitches or bugs, do post here or file a Help Desk report and I'll look into fixing it ASAP.

We hope you'll all enjoy this new feature, I know it's something that many of you have been waiting for for a long while!

Introducing generation-specific breeding alternates!

How does this work?

From time to time the site will release a new alternate pet /pet series that can only be obtained from breeding. However, you will need to breed a khima within a certain generational range to have a chance at obtaining a specific alternate! (We'll be introducing other breeding criteria, such as markings, mutatations, and even colors in future, but we're starting out with generation ;)

For our first breeding event, we have 12 fantastical colors of Spring Fantasia draakiths for you!

Generation 2-11: Spring Fantasia I ..... Generation 12 - 21: Spring Fantasia II ..... Generation 22 - 31: Spring Fantasia III

Generation 32-41: Spring Fantasia VI ..... Generation 42 - 51: Spring Fantasia V .....Generation 52 - 61: Spring Fantasia VI

Generation 62-71: Spring Fantasia VII ..... Generation 72 - 81: Spring Fantasia VIII ..... Generation 82 - 91: Spring Fantasia IX

5 Spring Fantasia Draakiths. To find out what generation they belong to, and to see the rest of the colors, you will need to breed!


You have a 30% chance of breeding out a Spring Fantasia draakith with every draak khima bred from now until May 15. Once the event ends, no new alts will spontaneously pop up, but you can still breed them out at the same rate as other alternate khimeras from existing alts - 20% chance when breeding one pet with an alternate image, and 40% chance when breeding two pets with an alternate image in the same category (all draakith alts are considered to be in the same category for breeding purposes).

To kick off this event, we are giving all users double the breeding slots for this week! Remember that "gen 1 x gen 1" breedings do not count against your breeding slots.
