Because we experienced some technical difficulties with the site for a few days, the deadline for gold Witara orders has been pushed forward to January 28th, 2013. This deadline also includes the ability to make Witara chrysalids, so if you have any more of those you wish to create, now's the time!

In addition, Khimeros now has not one, but two brand spanking new coders! Nick and Andrew have joined the Khimeros team to handle our coding needs, so we'll soon be setting aright all those pesky bugs and glitches we've been putting up with lately.



And finally, we have some shiny new quest items available! If you have a bronze quest trophy, you can now find these lovely Wintergreen plants:


Wintergreen, Wintergreen - Berried, Wintergreen - Flowered, Wintergreen - Snowy

If you have a silver level quest trophy, you might be able to snag these chilly Frozen Puddles:

And if you're all the way up to the gold level questing trophy, these beautiful Heather plants are waiting for you:

More Zephyrs for you!

I hope everyone got all the Chuck Chucks they wanted, because the little fuzzballs have disappeared. Now, if you go to the Mountains, you can find some Zephyrs there!

Woot we are now back to normal! As it turns out, it was just a simple fix (as we suspected it would be) and once Chris pointed it out for me, I was able to quickly make a tweak to the code and voila! Three cheers for Chris!

The rollback has now completed, and unfortunately as you can see it did not fix the bugs. So, we'll be moving on to having Chris put his brain to work on the problem. This may take a bit of time, as he does have a full time job which is of course his first responsibility. We'll continue to update you as we have any further news.

Just posting an update to let you all know what's going on.

Right now you may be noticing some lag on the site, this is due to a rollback of the site code that is currently running. This is a rollback of the code only, not the database, so won't have an effect on your items or pets, etc. If the bugs are resulting from something in the code that somehow became corrupted, this should fix it. However, we don't know for sure if that is the problem, so we can't promise anything.

It may take some time for the rollback to complete. We'll let you know when it's finished.

If this doesn't fix the bugs, a friend of mine has offered to take a look and see if he can pinpoint the problem. He has many years of experience so I'm hoping that he will be able to help us out with this emergency fix while we continue to search for a regular programmer.

I will post more info when I know anything more.
