Hard on the heels of Winterfest, the Festival of Love has arrived, bringing with it some new monthly treasures!! This year, our "luff" khimbits come in pairs of separate male and female khimbits. Please note that as always, monthly treasure khimbits are not breedable despite having "genders"! Love really is in the air with these adorable luffbirds! Pair of Hyacinth Luffbirds, Pair of Pineapple Luffbirds Pair of Sun Luffbirds, Pair of Tropical Luffbirds Even palm trees are feeling the love this month! Left and Right Palm trees And last but not least, this month's treasure pack serum is the Lace Serum! If you are extra lucky you may find a pair of Valentine Luffbirds! **Just a note, please remember that since luffbirds come in packs, if you are planning to save anything to turn in during retro month, you must leave the packs unopened. For those new users who may not know how the raffles work To participate in the activity points raffle, simply post in the forums (please remember not to spam, though!). When you see a little heart symbol appear after your post, it means you have received a random activity point and have automatically been entered in the activity points raffle! To participate in the beads point raffle, you need to obtain tickets using bead points that you earn when purchasing more than one string of beads at a time through paypal. As fun as Winterfest is, even it must come to a close. This is your 24 hour warning to snatch up any last snowballs and create any last snowmen and their accessories. After that, all of the snowballs and the items you need to craft snowmen will be disappearing, though the Winterfest Prize Shop itself will remain open for a while longer so you can spend any points you might have left. I also hope you all have gotten all the Masquerade khimeras you wanted from the Wishing Well, because we've had reports that the spooky Masquerade sprite has vanished, and another strange, new critter has been spotted in its place! And what might this adorable little fellow do, you ask? Well, this handly little Switcheroo Sprite can turn this: Into this! So if you've ever wished that the front and back halves of your hybrid khims were reversed... wish granted! Please keep in mind, though, that this will ONLY reverse the two breeds currently in use for the hybrid you take to the well. And, as always, if you're particularly lucky that adorable little Switcheroo Sprite might decide to follow you home, instead. A note on Essences: while we do normally have an Essence for the features we place in the Wishing Well, due to the recent orienteering of new programmers, we haven't had time to get them coded yet. Hey guys, we'd like to take this time to announce a little contest that we think you'll enjoy. With Witara's being retired soon, we wanted our farewell to be a contest to design (and WIN) your very own! Rules: Create a custom demo design using a Witara base and a combination of 4 patterns/serums (upper and under do not count against the 4) and additional variations (breed variation, mane, and feather wings are included free with the base). There are no restrictions on glow or enigma potions. There is no design theme, go nuts! Take a screenshot of your design and post it HERE. If you can't fit all of the markings/colors in your screenshot, write down the information in your entry post. If you have any questions about the contest, you can ask HERE or check with Angelic Ophelia (#29). There will be two grand prize winners who will receive their design as a custom witara! You may enter one design only. There will be a runner-up prize of 10 beads. People are encouraged to save their designs in the custom demo, that way if you win you can just send the link in for easy creation :) Contest closes Sunday Feb. 3rd at midnight site time.
