Please note that you will need to turn on your dice widget to play (main --> Your Account). The game will not work from the actual dice game page. **EDIT: Sorry guys. I thought the widget was for upgraded users only, but asking around, it seemed to be working for some non-upgraded users so I thought I was mistaken. I think what happened was that the widget may not be working correctly, so that when someone upgraded enables the widget, it continues working after their upgrade runs out. I would gladly make it available to everyone temporarily, however to attempt that I'd have to go mucking about in the code and there's still no guarantee that I'd be able to figure it out. I may give it a try if these issues go on for much longer.** The pinecones and acorns are all gone, and the bluejays and cardinals have swooped in for the month! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() You can also now receive icy snowballs when playing dice! ![]() 37 Comments |

Just keeping everyone updated on what's going on. I had hoped that our hosting company would be able to find a fix for the bugs we're encountering, but it's looking like that's not going to be possible. We're going to need a programmer to look into the issue, and as you all know, we don't have access to a programmer right now. So, currently I'm looking for someone who can come in on an emergency basis and clear up the problem.
I know that it seems like a lot of different bugs, but in reality the bugs are all stemming from one central problem, likely something to do with javascript It may be something as simple as needing to install an update, or it may be something a little more complicated, but I am pretty sure that it should be a reasonably quick and easy fix once we have someone to do the fixing. That's all I have to report for now, but I'll let you all know if there are any substantial updates. Thanks for your patience! 28 Comments |

Just to let everyone know that we're working on getting the bugs ironed out. We may have narrowed down the issue but I'm not sure if we'll be able to get everything resolved tonight even if this proves to be the case. If not, we'll be tackling it again first thing in the morning. Sorry for the inconvenience!

![]() It's that time, folks! The Winterfest Shop is officially open! Here you can spend all of your hard-earned snowballs by turning them in for points, and then using those points to purchase a number of wonderful wintery goodies. You can find the Winterfest prize shop here. In addition, we've got some lovely new Winterfest related craftable items! ![]() That's right; now you can build your own adorable little snowmen. If you go and visit Thimble you can craft the various, uh, circular snowy spheres that are required to build your snowmen as well as the snowman's shawl. If you drop in and see Lin she can help you craft the snowman's scarf, top hat, and toque. The sticky snow that is required for the snowman's, er, spheres, can be found via foraging, and if you look hard enough you will also be able to find the snowman's carrot nose, coal, and stick arms. Better look fast, though; you will only be able to craft snowmen for about two weeks! 21 Comments |

This is an update to let everyone know that when posting glitches and bugs/help desk reports, they may take some time to sort out. Unfortunately, I have not been able to contact our programmer for a week now. I don't know if she's going to be coming back temporarily or not, but I'm currently seeking out a new programmer, however it will take them some time to become familiar with the site code, even once I complete the hiring. This should not have a big impact on normal game play, as most of our regular activities have admin tools attached and don't require the presence of a site programmer. However, as I said, some glitches and bugs will NOT be able to be dealt with immediately. We'll be sure to make these a priority as soon as we have a new programmer, or when/if our current programmer should show up again. Needless to say this is also going to affect the aluriya merger. I can't really say exactly how much it's going to hold things up, because I don't know yet if/when Wisu will be back or how long it will take to get a new programmer up to speed. All I can say is that we'll be doing the best we can to get things back on track as soon as possible. 25 Comments |
