Customize any Human Avatar you own with Luffbirds, Luff Clouds, or Bouquets, as well as any other background/equippable items/khimbits to create a "Festival of Love" themed scene!

Winner of Best Overall Customization will receive their choice of any item on the site, with the exception of Master Items, custom khimbits, and specialty chrysalids (such as Witara and Gryph). Winners of the remaining categories will receive 10 beads each! There may be runner-up prizes depending on the number of entries. There will also be a random drawing from all entrants to receive 5 beads.

One entry per account. You may change your customization at any time up to contest end, March 1 2013 at 11:59 PM. Please include both an image and a link to your HA in your entry. There is a BBCode guide for posting images and links at the bottom of all forum posts.

Your HA *must* remain fully customized until after the contest is judged and some part of the HA must be visible in the image. At least one pair of Luffbirds, Luff Cloud item, or Bouquet must be clearly visible, and we encourage the use of the Lovefest prize shop items as well.

To kick off Lovefest activities this month, we're going to be having a poetry contest! Here are some guidelines to get you started:


- Entries should be Lovefest-themed, and should reference Khimeros, but do not necessarily need to mention khimeras.

- Entries should be kept G-rated.

- The cheesier, the better. ;)

- You may use whatever style of poetry you prefer.

- Each user may submit one poem only. All submissions must be 100% original and your own. Collaboration is not permitted for this contest.

- Entries may be no longer than 1000 words.

- Entries should be submitted directly onto the official contest thread. Please avoid hard-to-read fonts and colors. You may edit your entry at any time up until the contest closes.



The contest ends at 11:59 PM site time on February 21st, and the prizes are as follows:

First place: User's choice of any chrysalis from the Chrysalis Cave

Second place: 10 Beads

Third place: February 2013 Monthly Treasures

And a prize for participation will be distributed to at least two random entrants, with the possibility of more winners depending on the number of entries.

awww... everyone is feeling so sweet and lovey-dovey towards each other right now! It seems some of the inhabitants of Khimeros have been passing out candy hearts, and who doesn't like candy?!


You can now find candy hearts in all of the foraging areas, the forums, live chat, Dice!, and Kai and Tai's quests. These can also now be used for purchasing items in the Lovefest Event Shop! Candy hearts will be available until the end of the month.


(hm... I have no idea where this khimera is, but it sure is nice looking!)

I'd also like to take this moment to remind everyone that spamming the forums for any reason is not allowed. From the Global Forum Rules: "This means that you should avoid excessive short, meaningless, or one-liner posts, posts containing nothing but smileys, etc. Threads must have a solid topic, "talk about anything" isn't a solid topic." The forums are meant for conversation with the chance of a reward, not the other way around. If you are found to be disruptive on the forums due to spam you will be warned and rewards may be confiscated. Let's try to have an enjoyable Lovefest for everyone!

Thank you to AngelicOphelia for overseeing this, and to AzValen for helping with the judging! It was definitely a tough choice. Thank you to everyone who participated, it was great seeing all the wonderful designs you guys came up with. :)

Are you in the spirit of Lovefest yet? It's time to start sharing the love! New gift boxes and crates are now available in Wrap a Gift!






As a refresher, you can find the gift wrapping station in the menu under Events. There are a number of different boxes and crates to choose from, and when the recipient opens their gift, the opened box or crate will be deposited in their inventory and may be used as an equippable item (boxes cannot be re-used for sending gifts). Boxes come in different "sizes" and these sizes correspond to the number of items you can include in the box. Khimera crates can only fit one khimera.

To send a gift, you must fill in the top sections on the gifting page first - choose whether the gift is "locked" and if so, enter the date when the gift may be opened; enter a subject and message for the accompanying note, and choose whether to send the gift anonymously, then click the "edit gift" button. This must be done before moving on to the next step!

You can now choose the box or crate you wish to use and add the item(s) or khimera you wish to send. Then enter the username or user number of the user you wish to send the gift to (please double check the recipient using the "check" button), and you are ready to send your gift! The recipient will have the choice to accept or reject the gift.

Please remember that all "same IP" rules still apply when using this gifting feature!



EDIT: Also, please be aware that sending an empty gift will not work. You will lose your fee and the gift will not send. We will eventually be adding an error message so this cannot occur.
