We're in for quite a heat wave this summer, for the Festival of Fire is now underway!



It's hotter outside than Arabasti's temper when he sees a Woolabit, but that doesn't mean we can't all have a little fun! We've got some fabulous games for you to entertain yourselves with during the festivities, and, er...

... well, as you can see, Arabasti has gladly volunteered to bring an extra punch of fun and excitement to the party in our first game: Pin the Tail on Arabasti! The goal of this game is to try and reattach Basti's tail (and his dignity), or at least get as close as you can. It won't be easy, of course, but the closer you get the more points you will receive for your effort. If you're lucky you might even win one of these amazing, fiery prizes:


Fireball Shower, Streaking Fireball I, Streaking Fireball II, Streaking Fireball III

Or, you might receive one of these special tokens:


Exploding Token - Yellow, Exploding Token - Orange, Exploding Token - Red

These tokens will be used as currency in our Festival of Fire event shop, which I will explain more about later in this post. It is important to note, however, that you are not guaranteed to win a prize or a token each time you play; they are handed out randomly, so good luck! You may play Pin the Tail on Arabasti once every fifteen minutes.

Of course, Arabasti was fairly insistent that he wasn't going to sacrifice his dignity without a price, and so we are pleased to announce that Kai and Tai have also "volunteered" *cough* to be a part of the festivities!

"Dunk the Twins" is the second of our fun Festival games. Once an hour you will have three tries to drop Kai and Tai in the dunk tank by throwing balls at the target. You will receive two points if you manage to dunk both of the twins at once, one point if you can dunk either Kai or Tai alone, and no points if you miss the target. Like Pin the Tail, you can also win Exploding Tokens or, if you're lucky, yet more prizes!



Charred Bones I, Charred Bones II, Fiery Geiser, Scattered Ashes

Even if you do not receive a prize, you will receive points that are tallied up in a high scores table. There will be trophies and prizes awarded at the end of the event!

Our third and final Festival of Fire game should be familiar to some: Paranoia! Those of you who were here for last year's Masquerade will remember how this game works, but for those of you who weren't, here's a rundown:

- Once every 30 minutes, you may pick a fellow Paranoia player to attempt to scare.

- Once you've done this, a Salamander will show up on the next page they load.

- If they notice and click the Salamander within 60 seconds of loading the page, they've caught you and will gain a point! If they don't notice the Salamander, you will gain a point instead.

- You may only scare the same person once every 24 hours.

- You are also able to be scared, so keep an eye out on every page to make sure you don't get caught off guard! A person may only be scared once every 60 minutes.

- You may opt in and out of the game, but must wait 24 hours after your last scare attempt before opting out of the game.

You can receive Exploding Tokens from Paranoia, and also have a chance to receive one of these five slithery Salamanders!


Salamander - Blue, Salamander - Spotted, Salamander - Speckled, Salamander - Red, Salamander - Green

Once you've collected enough tokens you can spend them over at the Festival Event Shop!



Yellow tokens are worth one point, orange tokens are worth two points, and red tokens are worth three points each. Once you've turned your tokens in you are free to spend your points on a wide variety of fiery-themed goodies!



This event will run until the end of July!

It appears that there was some confusion as to where/how/when to turn in your bead bribery raffle tokens to participate in the raffle. Because of this, we've re-opened the raffle so that users can turn in their raffle tokens. You can find the BB Raffle here. Please be sure to turn in your tokens by the end of the day, July 10. If you do not turn in your tokens, you will not be eligible for the raffle.

Just to let you know, we are waiting on a few tweaks to the festival code, but the holiday season is interfering with our schedule just a bit. The festival will begin as soon as we can get these last few tweaks rolled out :)
