Every so often, a link will pop up in the chat that says "Is it a TRICK or is it a TREAT?" - followed by a link. If you're the first person to click this link, you may receive a prize! But be careful, because there can be no chance for treats without an equal chance for tricks!       In order to be eligible for chat links, you must have posted in chat at least in the last 5 minutes and have not received an item from a chat link in the past 24 hours!  The Masquerade prize shop is now open! You can access the prize shop via the Events menu.  We hope you will enjoy the prizes this year - for the first time you can now create "indoor" scenes in a haunted house theme! There are a number of walls, floors, windows, and other accessories to get creative with! The achak have made their way around Khimeros and can now be found in the Mountains, Dice! and Forums. While foraging in the mountains, if you're sure you want to, you can try to lure one of these creatures home with you.   Ice Achak   Natural Achak   Sinister Achak In the forums, be careful of what you say or one of these two could find you very interesting.   Spirit Achak And for upgraded users only, you can test your luck with Dice!   Thorny Achak Also in Dice! everyone can now randomly receive gravestones and wrought iron fence pieces!          8 Comments |

Another Masquesrade event begins today - Paranoia! - Once every 30 minutes, you may pick a fellow Paranoia player to attempt to scare. - Once you've done this, a small skeletal khimbit will show up on the next page they load. - If they notice and click the skeleton within 60 seconds of loading the page, they've caught you and will gain a point! If they don't notice the ghost, you will gain a point instead. - You may only scare the same person once every 24 hours. - You are also able to be scared, so keep an eye out on every page to make sure you don't get caught off guard! A person may only be scared once every 60 minutes. - You may opt in and out of the game, but must wait 24 hours after your last scare attempt before opting out of the game. You can receive event point candies from paranoia, and also have a chance to receive one of these six skeletal khimbits! At the end of the event, there will be trophies! Skeletal saber and origin   Skeletal risersa and drake   Skeletal Brat and Hippogryph   (Note: there are certain pages such as the home page, forums, news, and custom demo that I plan to have Karos exclude from Paranoia, but this has not been done yet. BE SURE YOU READ THE NEWS POST BELOW THIS ONE! It's that time again, the time for reveeeeeeeeeenge!!! Scare Tactics is active again, only during masquerade!     Once an hour, you can choose to try to scare either Tai & Kai, or Arabasti! When you succeed in scaring Arabasti, he may pelt you with candies that are redeemable for points in the Masquerade Event Shop, which will open soon!  There is also a RARE chance, when scaring Arabasti, to receive a special bonus prize! Up for grabs are monthly treasure packs, creepy forest packs, masquerade essences and even chrysalids, including gryph and panthira chrysalids! Only ONE of these special items will be given out per day, though! There will be a notification on the page when the daily bounus prize has been won. Watch out though, sometimes if you scare Arabasti he may throw smelly mud at you instead of candy! If you succeed in scaring Kai and Tai, they will give you one of their spiffy jack o'lanterns!    There are a total of six jack o'lanterns to collect! Kai and Tai also hand out candies for successful scares!  When scaring either Tai and Kai OR Arabasti, you also have a rare chance to win a grimm chrysalis! You can access NPCs to scare by visiting their pages in the "Events" drop down menu! 11 Comments |
