"This way! Don't let it see you!" Kai and Tai looked at each other and quickly scurried off toward the piping little voice. Surely something that small must be harmless! Sure enough, when they caught a look at the scampering little creature, it was a fluffy pink bunny-like creature with glittering little faerie wings, no bigger than a house cat. It peeped at them from around a door frame. They hurried eagerly toward it.  "Hello," the little creature said. "Who are you? Where have you come from? It is very dangerous to be wandering around all alone, here! There are many dangerous creatures that would love to prey on innocent wanderers! Especially the tricksome khitsune that hunts the halls of this castle and the woods all around! His terrible howl is enough to send mortal creatures insane!" Kai and Tai introduced themselves and explained that they had become lost in the forest and did not know how to find their way home again. "Who are you? Tai asked. "You don't really look like you belong here, either. Aren't you afraid of the big bad wo- I mean, the tricksy khitsune?"  The little creature scoffed. "Me? I am one of the bunnehs Foo Foo. I am not afraid of that nasty khitsune, for I am far too quick and clever for the likes of him. You must come with me. You can hide in my rooms until he gets bored and wanders off. Then I will help you find your way home again!" The two brothers exchanged happy and relieved looks and eagerly trotted off toward the little pink bunneh.  "Hurry now! You must be hungry from all that wandering about. Please have a look through this thread at the available overlays.  If you have have a special quetzalcoatl token, you may choose up to THREE customs that you particularly would like to have for EACH token that you hold (only one vote per person per overlay, however - you can't vote 3 times for the same overlay if you are entitled to three overlays, for example). **please transfer your special quetzalcoatl token(s) to grimoiredays (#23309) BEFORE making your selection on the choice thread. This is so we can keep track of who is entitled to an overlay from the thread** You may choose up to THREE customs that you do not particularly want for each that you are entitled to. You will not be guaranteed to NOT get any of the customs that you have indicated you do not want. Your chances of receiving one of the customs you do particularly want will depend on how many other people have signed up for that particular custom, and the vagaries of the random number generator, though we try to make sure nobody recieves one they dislike :) All customs that someone has indicated an interest in will be raffled off first via random number generator. I will then proceed down the list of remaining customs, in order, and assign them to a new owner via random number generator. You have ONE WEEK from today to make your choices. After the draw, you will be asked to put in a help desk with the underlay choice for your overlay. Please wait until the news post asking you to, to do so. The underlay for the gold quetzalcoatl is of course, the quetzalcoatl draak! Please post ONE post per person on this thread, stating your choices. Please do not post anything else on this thread. If you wish to comment on the overlays, please post any comments on the display thread posted above.  It's that time of year again... the mists of masquerade have brought the depths of Creepy Hollow close enough to our own dimension that the time flow has synced... and once again we can peek in and see what is happening to our long-lost quest masters, those twin griffabits Kai and Tai! If you need a refresher on the first parts of the story, you can find previous installments here: #1 LINK #2 LINK #3 LINK  After wandering for what seemed like a year, Kai finally caught sight of something interesting from the corner of his eye. "Look Tai!" he said. "That looks like a castle! Maybe there's someone inside who can help us find the way home!" "Ummm I don't know," said Tai. "It looks like the only way to get there is by that stone bridge, and it's broken. How could anyone be living there if they can't get in and out?" "Psh!" scoffed Kai. "That's only if the people living there don't have wings! We do, and we can get there easily!  "I have a bad feeling about this" muttered Tai, as he followed Kai's gliding leap over the chasm beneath the crumbling stone bridge. "Stop being such a scaredy-cat!" Kai called over his shoulder.  On the other side of the bridge, the mists were thick and swirling. As they made their way cautiously forward, they saw a set of huge metal gates, standing open. "Helooooooooooo in there!" yodelled Kai. Tai cringed.  When there was no answer, they made their way cautiously forward into a courtyard of great stone blocks. The wind made eerie keening sounds and Tai looked around nervously. Then he froze as he saw a menacing shadow rise up on one of the walls... a shadow that looked suspiciously like it belonged to the frightening creature that had sent them running into the woods!
