You may now create customs with manes and antlers :3

A couple of things though. Embarr currently does not have antler files loaded. You will not be able to see antlers on embarrs yet.

There may be a few layering issues to be sorted, so if you see antlers that are behind a pet's head, or something like that, we'll be correcting those kind of things shortly.

Also, the uwila mane is getting a touch up because we moved it to layer in front of the antlers, so we're bringing the feathers down a bit.

If you run into any other problems please post them HERE in the news comments, it's the easiest place that both Nas and I can access, since some things that may need fixing are her area and some things are mine.

We will be starting to sell Forever Upgrades later today. Forever Upgrades cost 65 beads. There are no plans to sell them ever again once the sale is over.

A normal monthly upgrade will cost 5 beads, or 50 beads per year if you buy a year at a time, so Forever Upgrades are a great value.

The current list of perks that you get with an upgraded account:

* 12 breedings per week instead of 10 for regular users, when breeding limits are implemented

* One free permanent Lair slot with each month of upgrade (Lair size limit is 200 khimeras, after which you will need to purchase extra slots at a rate of 1 bead per five slots).

* Free exclusive monthly item

* Access to additional site themes

* When battle comes into play, you will be able to "carry" two khimeras with you instead of one (you can still only use one at a time)

* Ability to participate in upgraded-only raffles for custom chrysalids and other cool things

* The ability to breed khimbits

We will no doubt be adding more perks as time goes on!

Just to make things very clear. This is the CURRENT list of perks. We reserve the right to modify this list at any time! What makes sense as a perk right now may not in the future as the game evolves, so we will tweak the list of perks as necessary. Rest assured we will always attempt to give you good value for your beads!

I *think* I have finally caught up on all outstanding mail messages. The volume of messages over the past few days has been slightly insane though, so please, if you mailed me either on the site, forums, or gmail, and you have not received a response, message me again, because you'd been lost in the shuffle.

*GAMES*

First off, I'd like to announce that our first game is ready for you to play! We now have sudoku, playable 10 times per day for trinkets. The amount of trinkets you get per game depends on the level of difficultly. If you are a sudoku fan, please give the game a try so we can squash any bugs. If you're not a sudoku fan, don't worry, more games are in the works!

*Beads*

I am sorry that there have been a couple of people who feel cheated by the change in beads. While I am afraid I cannot agree with the logic concerned, nevertheless I don't want people to feel cheated, so, if you have beads that you no longer want because of the change in bead value, simply message me with the email address you used to pay for the beads, and I will take the amount of beads remaining in your inventory away, and refund the amount that you paid for them.

*Forever Upgrades*

The last of the Alpha accounts has been sold, and we will be starting to sell Forever Upgrades on Friday or Saturday. They cost $65 in beads (65 beads) and will be available, roughly, for a couple of weeks.

I'll make another post regarding benefits of upgrading in the next couple of days :)
