You may be noticing some green notification bars for breeding requests, item transfers and bead transfers. Basically, Nas was adjusting the code and you'll just have to click on these bars to clear them, and everything should work fine again. These are OLD notifications, so it doesn't actually mean that you do have new breeding requests, item or bead transfers.

I know I said we would not be releasing more markings before beta, but we decided to add a few more things before beta so it's taken a bit longer than anticipated.

Because it's November, we actually do have two more markings coming out this month (this is the last time you'll have two markings in one month). Markings generally come out during non theme/festival months, which is why more are coming out in November... after that it will be January, March, May, etc.

I want your feedback as to whether the new markings should come out before or after beta starts (if they come out before, you can create customs with the new markings that will get alpha trophies). Basically, the news comments will be considered a poll, and 24 hours from now, I'll add up the "yeahs" and "nays" and whatever the majority wants, we will do.

First, we accidentally put the storm clouds item into the clouds pack, instead of the wispy clouds. You can either choose to keep the storm clouds, or send them to Onyx #1 and get the wispy clouds instead.

Second, I'm sure you guys have been noticing some changes around the site XD We're in the last stage of getting things ready for beta, so expect some more changes very shortly.

We have lair caps in place now, meaning that you won't be able to breed or purchase any more khimeras until you either downsize your numbers, or purchase an upgrade, if you are over the limit. As a reminder, Lair size is 200 khimeras standard, after which you'll need to purchase upgrades at the rate of 10 slots for 1 bead. These are permanent slots.

We will have the feature for purchasing lair upgrades available shortly.

Breeding limits are also going into place (12 breedings per week for regular accounts and 14 for upgraded accounts), as well as the "Release" feature, where you can release any unwanted khimeras into the meadow.

You've probably noticed the changes in the foraging grounds as well. I am hoping the new images are not too overwhelming for foraging?

I have been waititng for this feature for a long time :3

You can now purchase and equip backgrounds and background-type items to your pets. We call these "environments".

Our first foreground piece is the "Marsh" foreground. In addition, there are packs of different items you can equip to the foreground (or use without a foreground if you like), currently: moons, night sky, sunset, rainstorm, clouds, and mist.

These items are not "one month only", they are regular cash shop items, though as with any item on the site, if they become too numerous to the point that they are becoming devalued, then we will take them out of the cash shop for a period of time.

When you buy a pack, simply click on it in your inventory and choose "open". The items from that pack will appear in your inventory. You may then click on each item and choose "equip" to equip them to your khimeras. Once you have equipped the items that you want, click on "manage equipped items" at the bottom of your khimera's page.

You will see that each item other than the main background piece has five categorization options for placing items (behind the background, above the body, etc). Start by categorizing each item into whatever group you wish depending on whether you wish it to show behind the pet, in front of the pet, etc.

Within each group, you can then drag and drop the layers to place each item one top of, or beneath each other :3

I hope you enjoy the environments. We will be adding some plain-colored backdrop packs to the cash shop as well.
