I know that a lot of people are a bit bummed out at how the value of some of the more common/less wanted monthly treasures has gone down. I want to reassure you that we'll be doing something cool to address this problem and remove some of the excess quantities of unwanted treasures from the site. It's not going to happen for a while, and will be completely voluntary on your part, but I think it will make you feel easier about treasures maintaining their value over time :)

We're implementing a new rule regarding the use of chatspeak, etc. in the live chat and forums.

Until now we've been able to avoid having any set rules, but there's been a lot more of this lately, and I'm hearing a lot of complaints.

We don't intend to become hardcore grammar nazis, or expect that you will spell every word correctly and use correct punctuation every time. However, this site is geared toward older teens and adults, and we feel that the vast majority of people should be able to capitalize their I's, avoid using one-letter/number word replacements like "u", "r", and "2" in the chat and forums.

Smilie punctuations (in moderation), and short forums like lol, brb, and even wtf! are fine! We're just asking that you take the time to write in full sentences that have some kind of beginning and end, capitalize where appropriate, and don't use one-letter/number replacements for words that are already short to begin with.

We will also appreciate it very much if you at least attempt to use correct spelling, though we do know that there are dyslexics (and just poor spellers) on the site and we're not going to kick you out for having that kind of difficulty. However, there is a difference between making an honest spelling error and "taking lyk dis". The former isn't a problem, the latter is.

Just use common sense. Making one error is not going to get you in trouble, but if you are consistently failing to respect the rules, you risk being warned or chat/forum banned.

The dragon mask will be disappearing from Lin's list of craftables later today, so make sure you get yours before then :)

You can now add a live chat to your community!

This is a Community add-on, and it costs 2 beads per 30 days. You can pay directly, or use the beads in your Community chest to pay.

First off, the new monthly item is available for upgraded users!

Secondly, Journals have been coded! Visit the "Your Journal" link under "Main" in the navigation bar to set up your journal.

You can create private, public, or friends-only journal entries, and other users can comment. You can also lock your journal entries.

You will need to add the Journal module to your profile, if you want your Journal visible :3
