Aluriya will open for Alpha Account purchases some time during the day on September 15th! If you are considering purchasing an account, you should be sure to familiarize yourself with the Aluriya TOS and the Info Page before that time.

You MUST carefully read the entire TOS before joining the site.

We'd like to allow the auction winners access to the site a day or two before alpha accounts open for general sale if possible (I can't guarantee this, but we'll try). If you have purchased an auction account, be sure to put in a Help Desk report here on Khimeros, including your desired user name (the name viewable by other users in-game), login name (must be different than user name), password, e-mail, country of residence (needed for tax purposes) and birthday. Please also include the account number you chose.

When account sales open, we will post additional information on where to go to purchase your account. Accounts cost $15 USD payable through paypal, and you will be sent a registration code that you will need to use when registering your account.

We are not planning to limit the number of alpha accounts to a specific amount. If we get too many sign-ups, we'll post a 24 hour warning before discontinuing account sales. Account sales are first come, first served; you may not reserve a specific account number.

You may now choose from black, white, or transparent backgrounds for the Khimbits in your den :) You will have to regenerate the image and press ctrl + F5 to see the changes.

Monthly treasures are now out! This month the treasures are all khimbits, there are 5 octopie colors and 5 parakii colors. Just to shake things up a bit, we've included rarities for the items this month, there are 3 common and 2 rare colors for the octopie and parakii.

It looks like all the Otterkin have been frightened away by a new creature that has appeared on the beach! There have also been some reports of something new fluttering around in the forest! Only until October.

(Notice that when you are equipping parakiis; we have added two new layering categories, "above back hair" and "above front hair". This will allow you to layer items between the back of the hair and the body, and the front of the hair and the body.)

Another preview for you! This time with featherwings (the extra feathers on the ears and body come with the featherwings) and mane.



As many of you know, Khimeros is celebrating our first anniversary in September, and in celebration we are releasing a new khimera breed, the first of the V2 breeds! Introducing the Draak. The Draak artwork was created by Hibbary, like all our khimera breeds. Patterns are being drawn by TehTwi. Draaks are breedable with all other khimera breeds, however there will be no Draak hybrids available until they are released at a later date.

Why does the Draak look different from other khimeras? Well, like I explained in an earlier news post, the new khimeras no longer have to be in the same position as the first six pets. In addition, the Draak was drawn in "lineless" style to match the rest of the site art, not to match the previous pets, which are now actually out of date, style-wise (they will be updated to the lineless style). It also looks different because it's our first pet that does not have fur, so that has changed the way it looks quite a bit. I think that once you are able to see the draak with the usual patterns applied, it will no longer look so different.

We don't have a specific date for release atm, but it will be soon :) Once it is released, Draak chrysalids will be available in the Chrysalis Cave for the same price as the original chrysalids.
