You can now access the tea shoppe!



By clicking on the tea shoppe in khimeros central, you can enter! There you can start having teas crafted for use in the upcoming tournament. You have the weekend to stock up on teas, and Tournament #2 will commence on Monday!

Different teas have different uses in training. There are also "basic" teas and "super teas". Basic teas will always increase your khimera's stat by one point. Super teas may increase the stat by 1-3 points, randomly.

Healing teas do not need to be crafted, but can be purchased directly from Onyx (in the tea shoppe) for 50 TR each.

We have made a few changes to how the tournament works, as follows:

- You may not battle other users on the same IP address. This is to combat cheating/multi-accounting.

- Battles will now default at 1 minute instead of 5 minutes, as the longer time period was being seriously abused in the last tournament. If you think you may get distracted during a battle, you will need to let your opponent know beforehand so that you can agree not to auto-default if you have to leave the computer for a few minutes. Note that any user can default after 1 minute regardless of what was agreed beforehand, so if you make arrangements and the other person defaults anyways, you will just have to keep that in mind before choosing to battle or not battle them again in future (this does NOT mean you can purposely scam people into thinking that you will wait for them in order to default and gain battle points. Please use common sense).

-You may only battle khimeras that are within five levels of your own khimera.

-You may only battle any other one user 5 times a day.

The high scores from the previous battle have been archived, and are viewable from the high scores table on the tournament central page.

For those who may not have noticed yet, the First, Second, and Third place winners in all three categories for the last tournament have been given special "glowing" trophies.

Battle titles have also been added for all khimeras who received a trophy in Tournament #1. These khimeras are now honored with the title "The Just" which will show above their awards table!

I also want to say a few words about cheating here. I figured that this pretty much went without saying, but apparently not.

Cheating is not allowed.

You may NOT pay another user to battle you and lose (or to battle you at all). You may not pre-arrange the outcome of a battle beforehand, in any way.

If we catch people cheating in a way that we have not specifically stated here, it's still cheating, and you may still face a penalty, depending on how blatant the cheating is. If you are in doubt at to whether something is cheating or not, please PM Onyx or catch me in the live chat to ask.

For those who won battle points in the last tournament, the prize shop is now up! Your battle points have been rounded up so that you won't have any leftover points.

For those who are wondering how we decided on the pricing, it was based on a price that would allow the top battlers to be able to purchase the strongest weapons.

Since this seems to come up every time we release something new, I'd like to remind everyone that you are not meant to always be able to collect "one of each" of every single thing that the site releases. If we priced the prizes lower in order to allow everyone to buy "a full set", we'd have to price them so low that there would be too many items released in total which would effect the rarity/price. Tournament prizes are meant to be valuable.

The tournament banners are equippables, while the daggers, shields, and swords are both equippables AND weapons/defence items. We have not worked out exactly how weapons/defence items will work as far as strength, but generally the higher the price for the weapon, the more powerful the weapon.

You have roughly one month to choose your prizes from the prize shop.

This is just to let you know that we are working on getting the next tournament ready, and it may *fingers crossed* be starting as soon as tomorrow. Trophies from the previous tournament have been given out, you can view them on your user profile (if you have the trophy module enabled and you qualified for a trophy) and your khimera's profiles (if they participated in the tournament and qualified for a trophy)! The prize shop will also (hopefully) be available tomorrow :3

I hope you guys all had as much fun customizing your khimeras as I did looking at all the entries! You really outdid yourselves :)

I spent a really long time deliberating over winners, which shows what a great job you guys all did! But without further ado, here are the winners:

As some of you have undoubtedly noticed, we have a shiny new chat box! You can use the buttons on the bottom of the chat box to move it around in the page and resize it. When you have it where you want it, click the "S" button to save your changes, and it will remain where you put it as you navigate to other pages.

If you don't want to use the chat box, you can disable it by visiting the "account" page under "main" in the navigation bar. It can be enabled again from the same page :3

You can also still use the regular "lounge" chat page, which will continue to show a list of users either using the lounge, or the chat box.

We hope you enjoy this new feature and find it easier to connect with other users in real time!
