Quests were tweaked yesterday. The chances to get rare items (that give quest points) have been increased slightly, and we have eliminated the khimbits from the items that can be requested. Hopefully this will make it easier to catch up on your points. :)

The Enigma Essence costs 5 beads, and can be used on any khimera with the rainbow marking to change its current opacity to the opacity of your choice.



You do not have to have Wishing Well access to use an Enigma Essence. But when the Enigmas disappear from the Wishing well, the Enigma Essences will also be removed from the Cash Shop, though any Enigma Essences that have already been purchased can still be used at any time.



At this time, we ask that any remaining Prismatic Crystals be sent to Nas for a full refund. Thank you!

Also please note that we will no longer be converting any new enigmas into 'retro' enigmas. Conversely, we will also not be converting current retro enigmas to the new system.

Keep in mind that if you still have any 'in-between' rainbow enigmas, you have until June 10th to post them here.

As some of you may remember from a certain contest in the temp forums, there is a very lovely old stone well located in the foothills, and watched over by Wisu, the draak.



Khimeras and khimbits have become used to strange creatures (like humans!) popping up all over the place over the last couple of years, but now there seems to be something strange happening in the old well!

A glowing light has appeared in the depths of the waters, and it seems a gateway to yet another new world has opened up somewhere in deep inside.

Strange little creatures have been seen to emerge from the waters by those approaching to throw coins into the well! Rumor has it that these creatures are called "sprites" and that they come from the land of Aluriya.



When a sprite emerges from the well, it seems that it may actually bond with any khimera that has a rainbow marking! When this happens, the khimera will suddenly and permanently change color. Rumor has it that there are over 150 enigmatic rainbow colors available!

It is said that non-natives of khimeros may use the well once they have proven their worth by completing enough quests for Tai and Kai. Once you have reached the gold trophy level, you may randomly receive access to the wishing well. The more rarity points you accumulate after gold level, the greater your chances of being granted well-access.

Once you have received access, you may visit at any time, however, Wisu will not allow you to approach the well unless you bring a wishing penny. Wishing pennies are also randomly available from Kai and Tai once you have gained access to the well!

Our calculations indicate that this particular gateway to Aluriya will probably remain open for roughly two months! After that time, chances are that it will shift and then there is no telling what other kind of sprites may emerge, or when the rainbow enigmas will be back!

You may approach the well more than one time with the same khimera, but ONLY rainbow khimeras are eligible for bonding with enigma sprites. There is no guarantee that you will see a sprite or that it will bond with your khimera. Rarely, a sprite may choose to follow you home rather than bonding! In that case you will find the sprite in your inventory and be able to equip it or add it to your khimbit gallery :)
