As some of you may have seen, Hibbary posted a preview of some of the custom khirin artwork on Deviantart, and they are currently on the front page of DA! Check it out. This is the second time that khimeros art has made the front page. Arabasti held the #1 most popular deviation spot when his image was first posted, and he retained a place on the front page for four days :P Perhaps this accounts for his attitude sometimes!

Also, this is just a reminder that you only have until the end of the day on January 3rd to order your khirins! We are extending the deadline a few of days due to the Christmas and New Year's holidays.

After this deadline, custom khirins will be retired and not made available again for at *least* another two years (and most likely longer).

To order a custom khirin, please place your order in THIS thread and make sure you read the links there to the original news post and the information thread, first. Custom khirins cost $45 and include a generation 1 ayalar underlay with uni horn and mane. More information is in the original news post :)

There are new items available from playing the dice game! If you're lucky you can win a Narcissus or Holly Bush along side your usual trinket payout.

These items are available to be won randomly by all users.




Also, just a reminder, don't forget to collect your Glass Ornament Pack if you're upgraded! The monthly item for upgraded users was available on the 16th of the month as always. :)

I hope everyone had a great Christmas, and as some of you may have noticed, everyone who was active since Thursday received one bead as a Christmas gift from the site. Hope you find something lovely to purchase with your bead :)

The results of the second chocolate hunt are in!
Congratulations to:
Oniisms #308 who took home gold
Wolfschaap #46 and Bookworm #7676 were the two silver winners

Noxx #70, Radashaa #80, and tsuiri #7671 who took home a bronze trophy.



Arabasti is very happy for you all. Really. But all the same, he's not in the mood to be giving back pats at the moment because he just triple checked his stash, and what do you know.....those darn woolabits found yet another whole in his cave defenses and snuck in, raiding his hoard while he slept! (Yes, even Basti sleeps....once in awhile). He's not even asking for help this time. He's just demanding it....



Knowing that us Khimerians will do anything for a shiny, Arabasti is offering a reward for anyone who can locate 10 of his chocolates and bring them back un-nommed! Since he is an impatient beast, he is setting a time limit of 2 days to bring back the chocolate.

NOTE: We will be taking down the chatbox for the first hour of this event, in order to help a bit with the initial lag. DO NOT PANIC when it's not there! XD It'll be back shortly! In the meantime, you can always catch everyone in chat on the normal Live Chat page ("The Lounge") under the "Communicate" heading.

Fastest six chocolate finders will receive the following prizes:
1st person to find the chocolates = gold trophy + random purebred chrysalis
2nd and 3rd = silver trophy + winter forest pack
4th, 5th, 6th = bronze trophy.
Should you not be one of the first six to find all of your chocolates, not to worry! Arabasti still has a shiny waiting for you when you turn it in at his cave!

The chocolates are 20 x 20 px (read: small) and can be located on any page in khimeros, *excluding* user pages such as profiles and shops, forum threads/posts and search results pages. They may be located anywhere in the page.

When you find a chocolate, click it and it will take you to your chocolates checklist page. You can also access the checklist under "World" in the main navigation menu.

When you have located all 10 chocolates, you must visit Arabasti's page in the mountains and turn them in!

You are NOT allowed to collaborate on finding chocolates, or post anywhere on or off the site about where you found them (every person has a different list of places to find them, anyway).

Please not that you won't find chocolates on individual khimera, HA, khimbit, user profiles, user shop pages, sent or received messages, nor will you find them in forum threads or posts. Basically, those sneaky little woolabits can't get into those pages to deposit the chocolates, so you will only find them in the slightly more "global" locations....
(Also keep in mind that if your chatbox is open over page content, it might get in the way!)

Basti has shored up his cave very well this time. He is hopeful that this will be the final time those blasted woolabits are able to make away with his midnight snack.
