First off, you will notice some changes to site navigation. Logout is now located under "home" in the main menu, news is located under "communicate" and there is a new link for "events" which will list links to any currently available event locations!
Another Masquesrade event begins today - Paranoia! - Once every 30 minutes, you may pick a fellow Paranoia player to attempt to scare. - Once you've done this, a "ghost" will show up on the next page they load. - If they notice and click the ghost within 60 seconds of loading the page, they've caught you and will gain a point! If they don't notice the ghost, you will gain a point instead. - You may only scare the same person once every 24 hours. - You are also able to be scared, so keep an eye out on every page to make sure you don't get caught off guard! A person may only be scared once every 60 minutes. - You may opt in and out of the game, but must wait 24 hours after your last scare attempt before opting out of the game. You can receive candies from paranoia, and also have a chance to receive one of these six specter khimbits!    Once an hour, you can choose to try to scare either Tai & Kai, or Arabasti! When you succeed in scaring Arabasti, he may pelt you with candies that are redeemable for points in the Masquerade Event Shop, which will open soon! There is also a RARE chance, when scaring Arabasti, to receive a special bonus prize! Up for grabs are monthly treasure packs, monthly upgrade tokens, masquerade essences and even chrysalids, including gryph and panthira chrysalids! Only ONE of these special items will be given out per day, though! There will be a notification on the page when the daily bounus prize has been won. Watch out though, sometimes if you scare Arabasti he may throw smelly mud or trash at you instead of candy! If you succeed in scaring Kai and Tai, they will give you one of their spiffy masks (wearable by HAs)! Some mask colors are rarer than others, so you will have to be diligent to collect them all!             Kai and Tai also hand out candies for successful scares! oh em gee.. what is this?!?  When scaring either Tai and Kai OR Arabasti, you also have a rare chance to win this fabulous and mysterious Mystery Masquerade Chrysalis! What kind of creature could be incubating inside its dark depths?!?! You can access NPCs to scare by visiting their pages (Kai and Tai in the meadow, Arabasti in the mountains). 39 Comments |
 To kick off our Masquerade event, there are new overlays available from the wishing well! Available at the well and from the Masquerade 2012 Essence (Gryphs are available at the well only!) Day of the Dead Draakith, Ayalar, and Gryph    Ghostly Draakith, Ayalar and Gryph    Masqued Draakith, Ayalar, and Gryph    Available only from the Masquerade Essence (available in the cash shop) Day of the Dead, Ghostly, and Masqued Khirins    If you are particularly... er... lucky... you may find this sprite following you home! o__0;  As a reminder, Wishing Well access is gained by completing Kai and Tai's quests. When you have reached "Gold Trophy Level" you have a random chance of gaining well access with each new quest you complete. You will know when you have access to the well when you receive your first wishing penny from completing a quest, though this can take some time! The Wishing Well is accessible through khimeros central -> mountains -> wishing well. As a reminder, overlays can be achieved by taking draaks/draakiths, ayalon-embbars/embarr-ayalons, and gryphs to the well. Hey guys! As some of you probably noticed, for the past few hours certain users were having a problem with site navigation and links/usage in general.
 Undoubtedly it was those pesky woolabits, up to no good as usual... The problem should be fixed now- if you're still having an issue, you may need to restart your browser and/or do a hard refresh. To do a hard refresh: PC: CTRL + F5 Mac: Command + Shift+ R If you've restarted your browser AND performed a hard refresh, and the site still won't work for you, please send an e-mail to admin@khimeros.com with any details, as well as the browser and version you're running.
