We hope you all enjoyed the Festival of Fire! Arabasti and the Twins have scurried off to hide (until Masquerade, that is), so the fun carnival games have retired! Paranoia has been disabled as well... for now. The FoF event shop is still open, however, for anyone who still has tokens and points to spend. And while I know what you all are waiting for, alas, this is not the turn-in event news post you are looking for. ;) Instead, we have some shiny new monthly items for you in the Cash Shop! Say hello to the Chillpaca, cousin to the Chillama. Mossy and Paint Splatter Chillpaca Patchy and Snuggly Chillpaca In this month's CS packs you will also find a spiffy new Tropical Range Backdrop and Foreground; As well as a Paisly Serum pack, which will open up into Paisly Serums I and II. If you're lucky you might also find this month's bonus bit, the Spotted Ibex Chillpaca! Chillpacas were brought to you by Hibbary and Twi, the background and foreground by Hibbary, and the paisley serum by Protagonist! ------------------------------------------------------------ As many of you have no doubt noticed, khimeras now have shiny new profile layouts!! To edit khimera name and descriptions, click on the pencil icon on the left. When you have entered the text you want, click the pencil again to save. You may be wondering why we pushed the khimera info down the page. The reason is that we'll soon have the ability to expand khimera images to 800px in width! This should provide lots of new opportunities for those who love to decorate their khimeras! You will be able to adjust your khimera's image to anywhere between 500px (the current size) and 800px in width. When the image is expanded, the info bar at the top left of the page will appear over the khimera image. You can minimize this to a single "Name" bar if you wish. You will also notice that the color boxes for rainbow and enigma khimeras now show enigma color swatches! We hope you enjoy these improvements, though we understand it may take some time to become accustomed to them. Must come to an end! This is your notification that retro packs will be removed at the end of the day, July 31, and the Festival of Fire will end. We hope you enjoyed this year's festivities! But wait, the fun isn't ending just yet! August means "turn-in month"! Omai, I wonder what this can be??? "Turn-in month" offers an opportunity for users with unwanted monthly treasure items to trade them in for points that can be spent on a special pool of items. This year, the theme is "Tropical Rainforest Fantasy" and is inspired by the flora and fauna of South and Central America! The pool of available items this year includes a plethora of all-new deco items, master items and khimbits, as well as a few other shinies! We will be posting some more preview images of the fun things you can get in the next news post! Oooooh and what is this??? Turn-in month runs throughout August. We will strive to begin on August 1st, but it may take an exta few days to get organized and thoroughly test our new turn-in system. Instead of releasing items in "pools" like last year, this year we'll have one big "pool" with rarities assigned to each item, so there will be no worries about waiting for new prize pools to be released - unless we completely run out of master items and need to create more (I am always confident that this won't happen, and then you guys end up shocking me, so I'm not going to guarantee that this won't happen :P) Many of you will remember that last year, we also had special "custom demo" khimbits available in August, that could be purchased with points gained from turning in unwanted forageable khimbits. We will have a similar event this year, but we're pushing it forward to September, since August will already be quite busy with turn-in month, as well as a foraging event that will run some time during August. 13 Comments

A couple of items got left out of the shop, oops! I have added Falling Embers Pack and Falling Cinders Pack to the event shop. Each has a price of 5 points. I have slightly increased the token payout to give everyone a chance at these items. 4 Comments

We hope you enjoyed the boulders, bugs, and dandelions, because now it's time for some new items! Bronze: Wall of Fire Blue, Green, Purple, Red Silver: Tongues of Flame (Packs) Blue, Green, Purple, Red And for the Gold level, we are doing something different this year, and bringing back some of the first rare quest items! The hearts and roses ornaments and the single roses have had a redraw done on them too. Gold: Rare Retro Items Hearts and Roses Ornaments Blue, Pink, Red, Yellow Single Roses Blue, Pink, Red, Yellow Daffodils Peach, Spring, White, Yellow Hyacinth Orange, Pink, Purple, White Umbrella Friend Pink, Purple, Red, Yellow durrr... flowers in my fire garden. 21 Comments
