As a reminder, Wishing Well access is gained by completing Kai and Tai's quests. When you have reached "Gold Trophy Level" you have a random chance of gaining well access with each new quest you complete. You will know when you have access to the well when you receive your first wishing penny from completing a quest, though this can take some time!

Update on the enlarged Khimera environment spaces!

We've fixed many items in the past few days to work with the new larger Khimera Environment! Backgrounds have all been removed from the background dropdown list and can now be located under the "backdrop" category in your equip chest. Also, most background items and environment accessories are or will be move/resize now! This means you can stack backgrounds, or move things like the Hoodoos wherever you want! There are still some items that we are working on updating, and some that simply cannot be converted to the new size without being redrawn. Please be patient while we continue with updates, we cannot say what will and what won't be updated specifically at this time.

Troubleshooting: If you previously had a background equipped to a khimera you may need to remove it and re-add it for the full size version to work properly. If you find your image display seems buggy, please try a few quick refreshes in a row, clear your browser's cashe and restart your browser. This should fix most issues.




Update in the chat!

You can now paste a khimera's profile URL directly and it will automatically convert it to the khimera's image! Please keep in mind that the live chat is still not meant for discussing sales, trades or giveaways.

We've got a shiny new feature for you guys!



That's right, you can now expand your khimera's image! To do so, go to the page of the khimera whose background you wish to expand and click on the "manage equipped items" link. Once there, hover your mouse over the edge of the khimera's image until you see the double-ended arrow, click, and drag. That will expand your khimera's image for you. The size of the canvas can be anywhere from 500 pixels wide to 800 pixels wide or anything in between, at your choosing. In addition to this shiny new feature, you can also move your khimera around this new expanded canvas by clicking and dragging them across the decoration area.

Another cool recently implemented feature is the ability to move your khimera's image across their page. All you need to do is click the enable page edit button on that khimera's drop-down information menu (where you find their name, breed, generation, etc.) and then click on the pet's image and drag it left, right, or center, depending on your preferences.

A few important notes. This is a new feature. There will be some bugs and glitches to iron out as we go along, so use at your own risk. Right now we are also in the process of editing such equippable items and backgrounds that can be edited to fit the new canvas sizes, but there will be some items that won't be changed, either because they cannot be edited or because it is impractical to do so. Also please make sure to report any issues you find in the bugs and glitches forum so we can find them.

In addition, the new khimera pages themselves are still a work in progress, so there may yet be more tweaks and changes to them in the future.

I will begin work on the process to allow for the expansion of Khimera images. During this process, I will have to bring the Custom Demo down to prevent any issues for our users.

It's that time of year again! Let the treasure trade-in commence!



IMPORTANT NOTE: The point value of treasures has been doubled to 2 points rather than 1, with the exception of some serum packs which are worth only 1 point. This is to compensate for certain serum packs being released in quantities of 2. The price of the turn-in draws has been adjusted accordingly, to 6 points for singles and 10 points for doubles. (Because of the adjusted value of treasures, this is still a discount compared to last year, where single draws were 5 points and doubles were 8.)



IMPORTANT NOTE 2: We've decided to lower the tax on custom items! Custom items are now taxed at 2 beads for items and 3 beads for khimbits when you sell copies!

How it works: Turn-in works a little differently this year. Rather than having 100-item 'pools' of items to draw from, we will instead have one big, happy pool. In place of having a fixed number of each item in each pool, the items this year will be set at a fixed percentage chance of dropping.

This prevents certain items from 'running out' until a new pool is released and means that you will not have to wait for a new pool to open after an old pool is depleted. Bottom line, everyone who draws has an equal opportunity at getting any item and there is no advantage or disadvantage to drawing from the pool earlier or later.



This also means that there is no need to have any kind of limit on how many times in a row you can draw from the pool within a given time period. :)

If you are lucky enough to get a master item, you can sell copies of your item through the Special Items Shop, also linked through "Commerce" in the navigation bar. Khimbits have a "tax" of 3 beads and items have a "tax" of 2 beads.
