June's unique khimbit is the Kiger! We have made a couple of changes to how unique 'bits will work this month. In order to make room for other site events like gold customs, we've decided to drop back custom khimbits to a two-week-per-month time span. We will be releasing roughly 125 standard treats per day, between foraging, dice, quests, and the forums. Standard foraging treats are now available, and dice, quest, and forum treats will be available between now and tomorrow. The second change relates to the difference between special and standard kigers. All markings will be available on all kigers, however, only special kigers will have lineart edits (unicorn, carousel horse, effects outside the lines, new bases, etc etc). For example, the kiger in the image at the top of the news post is a special kiger with wavy mane, leg feather and unicorn lineart edits. We hope you enjoy this month's unique khimbits!! 15 Comments

Treasures, Unique Khimbits and Gold Custom Khimbits! By Twi (#13) on 2nd of June, 2014 16:41

**Please read this news post carefully. We have a few points to touch on and there are changes to Gold Khimbit ordering!** First of all, it's June, and that means no Monthly Treasures in the cash shop. May Treasures will be removed tomorrow. We're busy preparing for a summer full of events and we're giving you a bit of a chance to get ready too! Next month we will be releasing Retro Treasures, which will contain all of the previously released Monthly Treasures as well as a few other fabulous goodies. Going forward, Unique Khimbit treats will only be available for two weeks each month. This is so that we have a bit more time to focus our efforts on other events and activities, such as the Gold Customs. We'd also like to note that Tofu Mice are retired now. We will be filling up the Ethira Cub pools shortly so that there are enough to cover all existing Tofu Mice. ~*~ Gold custom khimbits are now available to order! Orders will close at the end of the day on June 30, 2014. Nightflower Bebe Origin Gold customs cost $65 each and include a generation 1 khimera base of your choice from the original 7 khimera breeds - Asadia, Embarr, Likos, Ayalon, Uwila, Kalan and Draak. If you should choose to use an alternate or special base, you must provide your own chrysalis/extra beads - for example, if you would like to have a Draakith base you will need to pay the 10 bead fee to upgrade your base from Draak to Draakith; if you wish to use a witara for a base you will need to provide a Witara chrysalis + 5 beads, etc. Please note that not all khimbit breeds and poses are available. There is more than one pose for some khimbits. Please refer to the Khimbit Index for an updated list of all khimbits and their associated poses. Unique Khimbits, such as the Wyvir, Lambkins, and Ethira Cubs, are available only in their standard version. In order to submit an order for a gold custom khimera, you will need to create the "underlay" design first and save it to one of your custom demo slots. You will then assign this design to your gold custom, which can be done very simply through the gold custom order form. If you select extra markings, you will be charged the extra beads through the custom form. You must have the necessary beads, as well as any potions or essences required to create the custom, in your inventory when you submit your order, or it will fail. If you want to apply dyes, glows, etc to your underlay later, simply leave them out of your design when you submit. Apple Blossom Dire Grimble **NEW** There is now a space in the order form where you can include specific suggestions for your theme! For example, you may suggest that your overlay has an argyle pattern on the legs or has gold embossed runes on the neck. You may not suggest things that would require additional or changed line art (such as wings/accessories/etc.). This does not guarantee that your suggestion will be used, nor have it exactly as you say, but it will hopefully give Hibbary a closer idea to what you're looking for. Ember Heart Ankora ALL CUSTOMS ARE ARTIST'S INTERPRETATION. We cannot stress this enough. This means that you may not ask for changes unless the custom is significantly different than what you asked for - for example you asked for blue and got orange instead. This is to ensure that we can get any customs out in a timely manner and keep the price as low as possible. If you feel that you're likely to be upset if your overlay does not come out exactly the way you expect, please do not order a custom - this will save everyone from potential upset. Do not contact the artist directly to ask for changes. If you feel that your custom came out significantly different from the order you placed, you may ONLY request changes via a help desk report. Users who attempt to circumvent a ruling by Staff on whether or not a custom can be edited by contacting Hibbary, be it on this site, her DA page, or by any other means, risk losing the privilege of participating in gold custom events (or being subject to other disciplinary action). We also remind users that our site rules regarding courtesy apply toward staff, as well.
