Turn in pool number five is now open!

As some of you may know, I am currently embroiled in a very complicated move from my apartment into an RV that turned out to need a lot of work done on it to make it habitable. This, along with losing a key staff member, has slowed things down dramatically over the past couple of months.

Never fear, we'll keep turn-in going for quite a while yet, running it over into October.

Happy picking!

Now on to the turn in pool:

Another turn-in pool is opening, featuring all the same regular items from the previous pools, but with some new master items available:

Giant Leaf I (Various Colors, Animated Glow)

Acadian Forest Backdrop (Various Colors)

Giant Toadstools (Various Colors)

Faerie Kalanchoe (Various Colors)

As to the platinum coins. We are chainging how these go into the pool a bit, to prevent pools from being abandoned when all the platinum coins have been taken. We will be adding various platinum coins including the new dragum coins, faerie kitten coins, and maybe even more eastern dragons, etc. over time as the pool(s) go on. We will not be revealing how many coins are going in or are present in the pools.

Good luck to all participants!

First off, I want to clear up the confusion over the master platinum items.

I apologize that I have not been able to get news out on how these work. As some of you may know, we unexpectedly lost a vital member of the staff team recently, and I am currently in the middle of moving house. At the moment I'm also dealing with a migraine and just want to get this pool out, so I'm going to have to be brief.

In short, there is only one major difference between the master platinums (eastern dragon, western dragon, foxx, etc) and the regular platinum khimbits (faerie dragon, t-rex, etc.). There were originally meant to be "mini platinums", but I soon realized that there wasn't any practical difference between those and the "regular" platinum khimbits, so there are only the two kinds.

The "Master" platinum khimbits allow the owner of the master item to generate coins that other users can use to create their own colored khimbits.

The ""regular" platinum khimbits are only available from coins that were given out by the site. If you own a baby t-rex coin, for example, you cannot generate more baby t-rex coins from it.

You CAN create copies of ALL platinum khimbits and sell them. So, if you submit a western dragon design and it is accepted, you can then create copies of that khimbit to sell. If you submit a faerie dragon design and it is accepted, you can create copies of /that/ khimbit to sell.

I hope this clears up the confusion over the different types of platinum khimbits.

Now on to the turn in pool:

Another turn-in pool is opening, featuring all the same regular items from the previous pools, but with some new master items available:

Sitting Faeries (Various Colors, Animated Glow)

Fae Caves Backdrop (Various Colors) (Note this item does not currently have a rainbow border like most masters)

Faerie Snails (Various Colors)

Annnnd to round out the pool there are 5 faerie kitten platinum coins available! (Please disregard the duplicate of the "Amused" base)

Good luck to all participants!
