After chasing the wild Yotes through the Badlands for what seemed like miles, they finally come to a rest in a cool, shaded area in a large crevice of the canyon wall.

Catching her breath, Onyx glances up at the now empty sky, wishing for some further reprieve from the hot sun. How much further do we have to travel to find Pyro? she wonders silently. If anyone else traveled through this valley without aid, they wouldn't survive.. This place must be added to records and maps, so no one strays alone.

"Onyx, look!"

The ocelot's thoughts are broken as she looks to what the Woodsman is pointing at. Hanging just outside the shaded area, a piece of old and tattered parchment is hanging off what remains a dead tree trunk.



"It seems we have a better idea of whom our embarr-rustler is, do we not?" asks the Woodsman.
"So it seems," she nearly whispers back, scared for the safety of her friend. "Pyro has been wrangled up by this Cowboy Minstrel. We must find him, at all costs!" shouts the small but fearless feline, bolting from the shade at full run, off into the dusty distance.
