Time for SCARE TACTICS! (Despite Kai and Tai being on their little adventure, we just couldn't deprive you of the opportunity for a whole year, so make up your own complicated explanation relating to fluctuations in the space-time continuum as to how you can still scare them while they are wandering around in Creepy Hollow ;) You will find the links for Scare Tactics in the Events menu. You can try to scare EITHER Arabasti OR the Twins, but not both, once every hour. This year, the Twins are giving out a slew of Creepy Hollow themed deco items! Arabasti is giving out some of the rarer of the Creepy Hollow foraging items, but be careful, because he may also pelt you with smelly mud or trash! Once a day, some very lucky user will also receive a Masquerade Essence from 2011 - 2015 or a grimm chrysalis! Only Arabasti gives out these particular prizes. 5 Comments

It seems that Fluffy is not the only one currently on an adventure! On a beautiful October day, Kai and Tai were out in the forest gathering some items for Lin and Thimble. They were raking in a good haul of items and feeling that they nearly had enough to return home in time for Tea, when Kai suddenly noticed something out of the corner of his eye. There, in an opening dug under the roots of a gnarly old tree, was a strange hanging figure of twigs bound with vines. And behind it... a tunnel! Looking closer, they saw that there were stone stairs leading down into darkness... "COOL!" screamed Kai. "Creepy," whispered Tai. "Let's go inside!" cried Kai. "Let's go HOME!" whispered Tai. But poor Tai knew that since he wouldn't leave his reckless brother to get himself into trouble with no one to drag him out of it, he was about to be sucked into yet another unwanted adventure! And sure enough, before he could say another word, Kai sprang lightly down onto the stairs and padded down into the darkness. Sighing, Tai followed behind, his ears drooping. When they reached the bottom of the stairs they realized that the tunnel was the entrance to one of the many portals that dotted the land around Khimeros Central. For before them they could see, shrouded in portal mist, a creepy forested hollow! And Tai could tell from the look on his brother's face that they weren't going to be getting home in time for Tea! ................................................................................................................. New Khitsune Grimm-Likos hybrid base, chrysalis sale, and fall Gold Custom orders!!! By Onyx! (#OVERLORD) on 25th of October, 2016 17:18

Sorry for the delay guys, but I seem to have become victim to this nasty flu that's going around! As some of you have no doubt noticed, we have an awesome new grimm-likos hybrid, the khitsune! This is a default base, not an alternate, meaning that this is the default base that you will get when breeding grimm with likos. To celebrate, hybrid chrysalids will be on sale for 20 beads for the next two weeks, that's a 5 bead savings! Grimm chrysalids will also be on sale for the next two weeks! Get them while you can! Grimm chrysalids are 15 beads each. .................................................................................................... Fall Gold Custom orders are now open!!! This will run through until the end of December/early January. This time around we have a special bonus! 1 gold custom for the regular price of 65 beads, or for an additional 40 beads you will receive a second recolored or edited version of your original custom! Underlay included (usual gold custom/underlay rules apply). If you wish to claim a bonus, please have 40 beads on hand and create a help desk report requesting your bonus (you will need to include a link to the underlay you wish to use and have all items needed to create the underlay base on hand). You may request a color or colors, but are not guaranteed to get the color you choose, it will depend on what the artist feels works with the custom. You can order as many bonus recolors of your gold custom as you like! Recolor Example 1 Recolor Example 2 .................................................................................................... This time you have two options to choose from - Khitsune Khimera Gold Customs or Khimbit Khimera Gold customs! Gold customs cost 65 beads each and include a Generation 1 Khitsune as the underlay base (khimbit underlay bases are user's choice, with basic default bases being free and special bases requiring that the chrysalis be provided by the user). In order to submit an order for a gold custom khimera, you will need to create the "underlay" design first and save it to one of your CUSTOM DEMO slots. You will then assign this design to your gold custom via the gold custom order form. Find the gold custom order form in the "events" navigation menu. If you select extra markings, you will be charged the extra beads through the custom form. You must have the necessary beads, as well as any potions, chrysalids, etc. required to create the custom, in your inventory when you submit your order. If you want to apply dyes, glows, etc to your underlay later, simply leave them out of your design when you submit. There is now a space in the order form where you can include specific suggestions for your theme! For example, you may suggest that your overlay has an argyle pattern on the legs or has gold embossed runes on the neck. You may not suggest things that would require additional or changed line art (such as wings/accessories/etc.). This does not guarantee that your suggestion will be used, nor have it exactly as you say, but it will hopefully give Hibbary a closer idea to what you're looking for. If you have them, you may use Accessory Custom Tokens with your order to obtain lineart edits! If you wish to use accessory tokens (up to 4 per order) you must state this in the suggestions box, and state how many you wish to use. The accessory tokens must be in your inventory when you order, and will be removed when your order is processed. *You may use Gold Choice Tokens to order a Gold Khitsune, but these orders MUST be submitted via Help Desk!* You can view all of the rules for gold custom ordering in the Gold Custom FAQ thread. You must read these rules before ordering a gold custom. You can find gold custom order forms HERE. ~*~ ALL CUSTOMS ARE ARTIST'S INTERPRETATION. We cannot stress this enough. This means that you may not ask for changes unless the custom is significantly different than what you asked for - for example you asked for blue and got orange instead. This is to ensure that we can get any customs out in a timely manner and keep the price as low as possible. If you feel that you're likely to be upset if your overlay does not come out exactly the way you expect, please do not order a custom - this will save everyone from potential upset. Do not contact the artist directly to ask for changes. If you feel that your custom came out significantly different from the order you placed, you may ONLY request changes via a help desk report. Users who attempt to circumvent a ruling by Staff on whether or not a custom can be edited by contacting Hibbary, be it on this site, her DA page, or by any other means, risk losing the privilege of participating in gold custom events (or being subject to other disciplinary action). Please keep in mind that gold customs are "special offers" and will be completed around the regular site art schedule. There are no guarantees of how long it will take to receive your gold custom, so if you are likely to become impatient, please do not order a gold custom. It can take months for gold custom orders to be completed. We also remind users that our site rules regarding courtesy apply toward staff, as well. Please do not make derogatory, rude, or hurtful comments regarding your own or another person's gold custom khimera, in any public areas of the site. 18 Comments
