Please try not to report issues that someone has already reported, and please include all the info you can - don't just post "feature x is not working". Woot! It looks like the changes made last night went well! Hopefully we'll continue stable!

However, we need to make a change that has to do with images. Lair images may disappear again, but we'll get them sorted back out again as quickly as possible.

We're about to have another downtime, to try a different solution that we hope will increase site performance. There will be a short downtime followed by approximately an hour of maintenance where only the Lounge will be available. This downtime doesn't affect the DNS and should not affect your ability to get back on the site.

I just wanted to post a bit of an update to keep everyone in the loop.

I know that the lag and glitches are frustrating. Unfortunately, migrating to a new server isn't a plug-and-play experience. The old server configuration is also six years old, and things have changed a lot in that time. The server setup we have now is very different, and that is part of the reason why it will take some time to make everything work together. We may have to try several different solutions to see which ones work better, and work best together. We also have to change things in the code that no longer work with the new server. Additionally, Judda was kind enough to step up to the plate when our previous server solution ended up not being available at the last moment, but he also had previous engagements out of town that must be worked around, so we'll need to have some patience. All issues will be solved in the end, and hopefully we'll have another six years of stable server environment!
