(Couple of news posts posted before this one, if you have not read them)

As some of you may have already noticed, we have implemented a couple of new features.

First, khimera transfers (link under "site"). You may now safely send and receive khimeras!

Just a tip, the lair a new khima goes to when it is born, is determined at the time they are conceived. So if you transfer a mother who is guarding chrysalids, the khima will still go to the Lair of the person who initiated the breeding.

Secondly, the Bead market (link under "world"). You can safely buy beads from other users, or sell your beads for trinkets, at the bead market!

Sorry about that few minutes of downtime guys. There was a wrong CPanel setting that carried over from our previous service when we migrated that made the server think we had exceeded our bandwidth. It's all fixed up now :)

A few people have been paying by e-checks lately. We have to adjust the automatic bead dispensing script to give out beads when an e-check clears... but until now we've had so few people using e-checks that it's been very difficult to do any testing.

If you have paid by e-check and do not get your beads when you get the notification from paypal that your e-check has cleared, please message Onyx #1 so that I can get your beads to you.

I added a clarification to the TOS regarding usernames, appropriately, under the topic "Usernames". This probably won't affect any of you since you already HAVE usernames, but we promise to always keep you up to date on changes to the TOS, so there it is :)

For all our new users, please read the news post further down the page entitled "Couple Things to Make Things Run More Smoothly". There are some useful links there to a FAQ and guide that you might want to read over.

Up until now, we have been using a system of reserving khimeras for other players by using names and descriptions on the khimera's page, however now that our community has grown larger, this is becomming a bit of a problem.

From now on, do NOT put up Khimeras for sale designated as "For Player #145 only", or whatever. When the player you wish to sell to is online and ready to purchase, put the khimera up for sale at that time. Keep in mind however, that there's always a chance (though very slight) that someone can buy up the khimera in the meantime if the other person hesitates too long.

This is NOT a license to go out and buy up all the other khimeras that are currently listed as being reserved for another player, because obviously some people are not going to be online right now to see this news post and change their khimeras status accordingly.

Buyers, it is up to you to CHECK the khimera's description to see if it is reserved for someone else before buying it. Accidents do happen, but this is common courtesy. If something is designated as belonging to another person, you don't knowingly take it.

As for cheap or "giveaway" khimeras. If you don't want just anyone to take them, then please do not put them up for public sale for 1 TR.

This goes for the next 48 hours. After that time we will not take any action against users who purchase khimeras not designated for them (though it's still common courtesy to not take something that you know is not intended for you >_>).

This is a TEMPORARY measure, as khimera transfers will be coded very soon. This will give you a safe way to transfer your khimeras to their new owners without interception by third parties.

I do want to say a word here about courtesy to other players. I am aware that on some other sites, asking for players to be courteous to each other is basically just lip-service. That is not the case on this site. You ARE expected to be courteous to others, as is indicated in the TOS. Obviously we cannot write down every single instance of what this means in the rules. Please use common sense.
