Well, look what the cat's dragged in. A new silver custom khimbit, the Margay! We've introduced two new patterns for our silver custom khimbits; Vines and Margay, bringing the total up to 15 different markings! The other patterns include Upper, Under (these two are free, as always), Mackerel Tabby, Okapi, Panda, Python, Raccoon, Rainbow, Spotted Seal, Tapir, Tiger, Fox Under, Fox Upper. Margays currently have two new variations, Dragon Horns and Mane. All serums are also able to be used on silver custom khimbits. Check them out in the demo here. Please note you need to select a breed and gender and hit regenerate before you will see the base. Just like last year's Fenniks, male and female Margays each have a different pose! Also, you can breed them to other Margays and Fenniks. You can breed your khimbits from your custom khimbit den, and offspring will automatically be placed in your inventory. You will need a breeding crystal in your inventory (will be consumed) for each breeding. Now, the burning question is, "HOW DO I GET MY HANDS ON THESE??" "Silver Custom" Khimbits are an annual event. You now have the chance to "turn in" any unwanted forageable khimbits and select items, for points, just as you do with unwanted monthly treasures for the treasure trade-in. You can go here to turn in your unwanted khimbits for points (the older they are, the more points they are worth!) and spend them on items to make your very own custom Margay! Margay Mini Chrysalids cost 30 points to start. This is an increase from the last year because we are trying to avoid an over-supply in the market, because this is an annual event and users have had a chance to save up khimbits, and because of the availability of retro khimbit packs (more info on those below!) The price of the chrysalids will increase as your purchase more chrysalids to your maximum of 10 chrysalids. Your points will also be able to buy you pattern and variation crystals. Breeding crystals have been lowered in price and the cap has increased, to help populate Khimeros with your beautiful designs! Don't have enough khimbits to turn in or just want to try your luck for a certain retired khimbit? There are currently Retro Khimbit Packs in Lin's shop that are available to purchase with trinkets. Each pack will give you one random khimbit that was previously available from foraging. Please be aware, we MAY offer other events or limited edition cash shop items for other silver custom khimbit breeds through the year, but the only way to get a Margay Mini Chrysalis will be through this turn in event, or if they are offered in subsequent years' turn-in events, or through site contests/giveaways/auctions/raffles. Turn-in has officially ended! We hope everyone enjoyed the event, and if you weren't lucky enough to grab a master item this year, don't worry! There's always next year. But for now, we've got some new monthly packs for you--and since September is Khimeros's birthday, we also have a shiny new monthly pack design. In these new packs you'll find the cash shop versions of our newest khimbit, the Kruos. Elemental and Metallic Kruos Onyx and Stone Kruos Along with the Crystal and Gemstone Shimmer packs, both of which contain four animated shimmer items. Crystal Shimmer I, Crystal Shimmer II, Crystal Shimmer III, Crystal Shimmer IV Gemstone Shimmer - Blue, Gemstone Shimmer - Green, Gemstone Shimmer - Red, Gemstone Shimmer - Yellow And the Rocky Serum Pack. The Octopints have swum away, and the fluffy Wawas have come out to play! Storm and Patched Wawa Ocean and Neon Wawa Luff Wawa To breed a Wawa, go to the Meadow -> Breed Khimbits. You will need to select one Kitt and one Bunneh from your den to breed together. Each combination gives you the chance to produce a different color of Wawa. You may breed khimbits once every 12 hours; the counters reset at noon and midnight, site time. If you try one combo of khimbits and it is not a valid "recipe" to create a Wawa color, you will receive an error message and be able to try again. If your breeding attempt fails though, you will need to wait until the counter resets. If you are especially lucky, you may receive a "twin" khimbit during any successful breeding.
