Important news post below this one, be sure to read it! New quest rewards are now available from those picky griffabit twins! At the Bronze level (25 rarity points) you will now have the chance to receive Asters! At the Silver level (75 rarity points) you will now have the chance to receive Asters, as well as Manicured Hedge Packs! And at the Gold level (150 rarity points) you will now have the chance to receive the previous two prizes, and Stone Bridges! Questions on how Kai and Tai's Quests work? Head over to our FAQ! Embarr-Draak Hybrids! In the demo and as Gold Customs! By Twi (#13) on 23rd of November, 2013 03:50

Introducing the first Draak hybrid! This lovely creature is what you can now get if you mix a Draak with an Embarr! (50% chance) Embarr-Draaks (aka Draak-Embarrs) are not an alternate, they are the default image for the hybrid, but they do have a few things that make them special. You can create an Embarr-Draak custom with a hybrid chrysalis. As usual you can have 2 markings and 1 mutation, or 1 marking and 2 mutations, along with upper and under markings. In addition you may also add a new marking "Breed Marking" to you Embarr-Draak at no charge. This marking covers the mane and tail fur. In future bases it may display elsewhere. Breed Marking can be listed in any Khimera's genetics, but for now, unless it's on an Embarr-Draak, it won't show up on the image. And, like the Witara, they also all come with a free "Breed Variation" which covers the feet scales. Hybrid chrysalids are still being added to the beach's chrysalis cave at an increased amount. GOLD EMBARR-DRAAK ORDERS! Themed gold overlays by Hibbary start at 65 beads. With the Embarr-Draak this include the hybrid base, so you won't need to provide a hybrid chrysalis for the base upgrade! You will also have the option to add variations to your overlay! More information can be found in the Gold Custom Order Guide thread HERE! In order to submit an order for a gold custom khimera, you will need to create the "underlay" design first and save it to one of your custom demo slots. You will then assign this design to your gold custom, which can be done very simply through the gold custom order form. If you select extra markings, you will be charged the extra beads through the custom form. You must have the necessary beads, as well as any potions or essences required to create the custom, in your inventory when you submit your order, or it will fail. If you want to apply dyes, glows, etc to your underlay later, simply leave them out of your design when you submit. You can view the rules for gold custom khimera ordering HERE. Please note that you must read these rules before ordering a gold custom. Please also note that these are THEMED orders only. You can find gold custom order forms HERE. Gold orders will be open for two months. A final note on Embarr-Draaks in the custom demo. These were created to extend beyond the original 500x600px image size. So, in some cases you will notice that part of your design is clipped. You can now press the "Preview at 800x600" button in the custom demo to preview the full image. 14 Comments
