Chat Trading/Sales

You have probably noticed the new "Trading Post" banners that pop up. These are to alert you that the "Trading Post" is open in the live chat. This means you can trade/sell items in the chat for as long as the Trading Post is active. Please do NOT simply post things like "check out my shop!". The Trading Post is for trading and selling specific items. Anti-spamming rules are still in effect, so please do not post an endless series of items for sale. It will be up to the staff to determine what is appropriate, so if a mod asks you to do something or not something, please do as they ask. Gifting/asking for gifts in the chat is still not allowed (please do not try to get around this rule by selling items for 1 TR, etc). There will be more official rules up soon.

Please remember that trading is ONLY allowed when the green "Trading Post" banner is visible in the chat.

Please do NOT ask for the Trading Post to be opened, or ask when it will be opened.

Wyvir Turn-in

We are planning to open a wyvir turn-in event soon! You will be able to turn in multiple unwanted wyvir to receive a pick from a new pool with exclusive wyvir designs! So you may want to consider hanging onto your unwanted wyvir for this purpose.

Raptara Sprite Raffle

We will be re-opening the raptara raffle since there are several users who did not turn in their tokens. There will be a news post when it re-opens and it will be open for one day only, so make sure you get your tokens in when the news is posted. We cannot guarantee that there will be any further use for these tokens once the raffle is over.

First off, I want to apologize - we've been going so crazy trying to create enough wyvir for new "pools" that we forgot to stop and think that some people might not understand how things work from previous events.

There is basically a "pool" of khimbits that users can pull from. The idea of having wyvir was rather last minute, so we only had 265 made ahead of time. That seemed like a pretty reasonable number before the madness started, we thought that would be more than sufficient for overnight, and we planned to make more to add to the pool the next day.

Imagine our dismay when the entire pool disappeared in a mere few minutes! We frantically began making more, but even with 4 artists working on creating new ones, we could not keep up. We went through the entire number of anuki released during an entire *month* in less than one day.

Wyvirs have been snatched up from the pools so fast that they do not last for very long even when there are 200 - 300 individuals in a given pool. There are now over 3600 wyvir on the site in about a week!

So, if you are having trouble opening your packs, please try to be patient! We are doing our very best to keep up with the demand. If you want a heads' up on when a pool is open, you may want to keep an eye out on the live chat, as people will usually be posting images when they obtain new wyvir. Pools are opening and closing so quickly that it would be impossible to post news time after time (we are working on a notifications system for this kind of thing).

We're aware there are some things that are problematic since the release of the unique khimbits, like clogged trades and the sheer difficulty in finding trades with so many. We are working on few things related to this since it seems we'll be having more unique khimbits in future.

For the time being, we've also opened up a "Trading Post" in the lounge. You are allowed to talk about your sales and trades. We are asking that people not simply go into the lounge and blurt out things like "check out my shop!" or spam the same sales over and over, but keep it to specific offers such as "I have a hybrid chysalis for sale" or linking to your wyvir for trade. Once we get a notification system going we'll be opening the "Trading Post" periodically, with a banner in the chat so you know when it is open and closed. This is VERY MUCH on a trial basis, and we'll see how it goes.

You may have noticed we're having a lot of lag. I suspect people are keeping open many more than the usual tabs for wyvir trades, etc. If everyone can close some unneeded tabs and disable your shoutbox in account settings, hopefully this should give us a quick lag fix until Karos can make some tweaks to the code when he gets on tomorrow ;) If you want to chat, the lounge is still open!!
