We have new May 2014 Monthly Treasures available now in the cash shop!   Inside you will find Autumn and Summer Seaside Cliff Packs! (contains a Foreground and a Backdrop item each)   Blue and Tropical Dreaming Sea And Sky Packs (contains a Sea and a Sky item each)   and Regal Oak Packs I and II! (contains three tree items each)   You may also receive the bonus item, a Special Tofu Mouse! These will be used to attract the new Special Unique Khimbits when they are released! MAKE SURE YOU HAVE READ THE PREVIOUS NEWS POST! Introducing a new foxy platinum custom base - the Kettu! Each platinum custom base will be available for users to color/have colored and cannot be obtained in any other way, thus avoiding confusion regarding which pets are official site pets and which are user-created. These tokens will be available for approximately two months. Once retired, the tokens will no longer be available to purchase from the cash shop, but may still be used, and sold in user shops. Retired tokens may be available via event prizes, or special events/sales. Under the current system, they will not be available for long-term purchase in the cash shop for a period of not less than two years from their original release date. Regular platinum customs can only be colored "inside the lines", and require a platinum token of the desired base. Be sure to read this page for additional rules. Upgraded platinum customs may be colored inside and outside of the lines, and require a platinum custom token of the desired base, and a platinum upgrade token. Be sure to read this page for additional rules.   Platinum custom tokens cost $30 each, and platinum upgrade tokens cost $20 each. Included in the price of the token is the generation 1 "underlay" khimera. The underlay breed for the Kettu is the Likos. You must design your underlay and save it to one of your demo slots before you can process your platinum custom. Underlays come with the usual two free patterns/one free variation or two variations/one pattern unless otherwise specified. Extra patterns or variations may be purchased at the usual price, and you may use serums and glow items as long as they are available to be taken from your inventory. To begin processing your custom, simply click the platinum custom token in your inventory. If your design requires an upgrade token, it must be in your inventory when you submit your order. Platinum customs breed down just like gold customs do, at a rate of 20% when the offspring has a pure draak base, and you can adjust the pass-down rate of the custom image (for gen 2+) from 20% to 2% and set it to "female only" as well.  Red Fox Platinum Kettu You can retrieve the .psd file for the base here. You do not need to purchase a base to experiment with the .psd. You can access platinum custom orders via the Event menu. A tutorial on how to color the psd can now be found HERE! If you run into problems or need information on what to do, you can prowl the Lounge/chatbox for Onyx or Twi, who should be able to answer your questions. You can also ask any questions here in this news post or in the help forum. To clarify a a point regarding erasing/painting over the base - you may not erase/remove any parts of the platinum base. If you wish to create a transparent effect, you may lower the transparency only to the point that the entire pet is still visible when placed on a white background. For example - you wish to make some feathers look moth-eaten - you can "erase" parts of the feather as long as the "erased" bits are still visible against a white background (if only barely). 12 Comments |

The Treasels have all scampered off with their treasure and a new khimbit can now be bred in the meadow! If you are upgraded you can now take home your very own Muntjac!   Natural and Fallow   Snowflake and Striped To breed a Muntjac, go to the Meadow -> Breed Khimbits. You will need to select a Dear and a Saber from your den to breed together. Different combinations gives you the chance to produce a different color! You may breed khimbits once every 12 hours; the counters reset at noon and midnight, site time. If you try one combo of khimbits and it is not a valid "recipe", you will receive an error message and can try again. If you discover the correct recipe and your breeding attempt fails, you will need to wait until the counter resets. If you are especially lucky, you may receive a "twin" khimbit during any successful breeding. This month's twin is the Firefleck Muntjac!  5 Comments |

As we pointed out in the previous news post, there has been a fairly wide spread glitch regarding serum placement. The issue that caused this has been fixed.
 If you were affected by this glitch you have been sent a Serum Reposition Potion for each serum marking affected. The following serum markings were NOT affected. To check if your khimera has had a serum move or vanish: 1. Go to its profile. You will want to save the khimera's image in some way. If it is glitched it will change. 2. Click "Edit Through Demo" on the Control Panel. 3. Click "Refresh Custom" 4. If the image does not change, that khimera is fine. If it has changed, continue. 5. Click "Move/Resize" next to the affected serum. You will see a red box appear in the top left hand corner of the khimera's image. 6. Click on the red box. Move and resize it how you wish. 7. Click "Refresh Custom" and ensure that the khimera is how you want it to look. If it doesn't, repeat step 5 and 6. 8. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Edit Custom" You will notice that the demo will tell you that it requires either a Serum Reposition Potion OR the Serum attached to the moved/resized marking. If you have a Serum Reposition Potion in your inventory it will take that item, not the serum! Serum Reposition Potions are account bound. This means you cannot transfer, sell, trade, etc. the item off your account. If you have further questions regarding this please post in the help forum or in the news comments! 36 Comments |
